2025/2026 AFTER TRYOUTS – Your Next steps

 

After being selected for a team, there is a process to accept the offer to play for NCWVBC called a “Club Assignment“ You may have already done this when purchasing your USAV/ERVA membership. If not, you will be emailed a link or you can use the link below to “ACCEPT” the Club Assignment. You have accepted the NCWVBC  Club Assignment in your Sports Engine account. I’ll be contacting you over the next few weeks if you still need to get this done.

The message says “Who is this Membership for”  it just means to continue to verify who (athlete, not parent) the Club Assignment is for (athlete, not parent).

This process will help you  make sure you have a 25-26 ERVA Junior Player ($75) membership or have upgraded your $15 Tryout membership to a 25-26 ERVA Junior Player . (Tryout memberships only last a few days) 

There is a different USAV membership for those athletes who are already 18 or will turn 18 during the USAV season 9/1/25-8/31/2026.. Sportsengine should prompt you to choose this USAV membership but in case it doesn’t, here is the link for you to use.

25-26 ERVA Junior Player – SafeSport Required

This is paid to USA Volleyball/ERVA of $75.00 for insurance and liability coverage. This is required to participate.

NCWVBC has 2 documents,  2025/2026 NCWVBC Player/Parent Handbook (15 Pages) and 2025/2026 NCWVBC Letter of Commitment & Payment Schedule (2 Pages) that you need to read and be familiar with during the season. It is a great resource for how we operate NCWVBC and expectations.

You will be emailed a copy through DOCUSIGN.  This was NEW last season. We used to print copies and turn in the paper copies but we are trying to make this easier and more effecient for everyone….so please be on the lookout for an email from NCWVBC Via Docusign. Open the email, and check the box in the upper left to get started, read the handbook and sign it by typing your athletes name and the parents name on the last 2 pages. Click the YELLOW Finish button when your done..

 Player fee deposits are required to be paid prior to 1st Practice/Parent meeting. When teams are formed, parents will receive an invoice for vis email through SportsEngine for the deposit. If you do not receive an invoice email for player fees, please contact NCWVBC Treasurer.  a

R1 Coaches Clinic (Required for all coaches, 16s & 18s) will follow your class for 30 minutes

If you do not attend you will have to take a 4 hour online class before you will be allowed to play in a tournament per Evergreen Region requirements. NO EXCEPTIONS! We also encourage parents to attend the class as well! Please feel free to sit in and learn about common rules and scoring!
